Washington, D.C.: Today House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) delivered the following remarks on the floor of the House of Representatives in support of the “Academic Competition Resolution of 2013”:
Washington, D.C. - According to press reports and sources, the House Judiciary Committee has learned that the Obama administration has ordered the release of an unspecified number of illegal immigrants in detention. These detained illegal immigrants have either been charged or convicted of a crime, have a final order of deportation, are fugitives, or are suspected gang members. The general consensus among U.S. growers is that the H-2A program is too cumbersome, bureaucratic, expensive, and litigious to use.
