WASHINGTON — The House Judiciary Committee is renewing a May request to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz to hand over all records on migrants accused of crimes who have received “preferential treatment” by her office as a result of so-called “sanctuary” policies.
In a letter obtained by 7News, Republican Congressmen Jim Jordan and Tom McClintock of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee explained that Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano is withholding information requested by the committee.
