Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on “Examining Systemic Management and Fiscal Challenges within the Department of Justice.”
This hearing is the first in a series to examine the Justice Department and its components in order to identify matters that are in need of critical reform. The Justice Department has not undergone a reauthorization since 2005.

Over the past few decades, a number of laws to protect children have been enacted.
