Washington, D.C. -- House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) released this statement following the announcement that twelve Russian nationals have been charged with attempting to interfere with the 2016 Presidential election.
"Today’s announcement from the Department of Justice again confirms that hostile foreign powers attempted to interfere in our elections. The Department of Justice should be commended for their efforts in rooting out these international criminals.”
