Washington, D.C. – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) today delivered the following remarks on the House floor in support of the PROTECT Our Children Act (S. 782). Chairman Goodlatte: I’m pleased today that we are voting to reauthorize the Prosecutorial Remedies and Other Tools to end the Exploitation of Children Today Act of 2003 — or, the PROTECT Act. The PROTECT Act authorizes local law enforcement task forces to combat crimes against children online.
