Constitution Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Class Action Lawsuits for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

Washington, D.C. - On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Constitution and Civil Justice will hold a hearing titled, “Examining Class Action Lawsuits against Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.” This hearing will discuss the importance of intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (CFs/IID) and potential legislative solutions to protect those with intellectual disabilities.
