WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight will hold a hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The hearing, "The Legal Basis for Action Against Venezuelan Drug Traffickers," will examine the legal basis for recent U.S. actions involving Venezuela, including efforts to arrest Nicolás Manduro and U.S. airstrikes on drug-smuggling vessels. The hearing will also highlight the lawfulness of these actions under both domestic and international law and relevant historical precedents.
