Washington, D.C. – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Immigration and Border Security Subcommittee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) have pressed Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) efforts to make New Orleans a sanctuary city.
In 2010, the mayor of the City of New Orleans requested DOJ to “reform” the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

Designer synthetic drugs are often marketed as herbal incense, bath salts, jewelry cleaner, or plant food, and have caused significant abuse, addiction, emergency room visits, and even fatalities.
