House Judiciary Committee to Hold Oversight Hearing on Antitrust Enforcement

Washington, D.C. — On Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law will hold a hearing entitled, “Oversight of the Antitrust Enforcement Agencies.” This hearing will allow Members to ask a number of questions regarding major policy aspects of antitrust enforcement, including enforcement against foreign cartels, healthcare industry consolidation, monopolies in the tech space, and calls to reevaluate the consumer welfare standard.
The witnesses for Tuesday’s hearing are:

- The Honorable Joseph J. Simons, Chairman, Federal Trade Commission
