House Judiciary Committee Approves Subcommittee Assignments for Rep. Jason Smith
Washington, D.C. – House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) today announced Representative Jason Smith’s (R-Mo.) subcommittee assignments for the 113th Congress. Representative Smith’s assignments were approved by the full Judiciary Committee during today’s markup.
For the 113th Congress, Representative Jason Smith will serve on the following subcommittees:
Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice;
Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet; and
Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law

Background: Representative Jason Smith was sworn in as a Member of the 113th Congress on June 5, 2013. He represents the 8th District of Missouri. Smith received his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Prior to coming to Congress, he served in the Missouri House of Representatives.
