Goodlatte Names New Subcommittee Chairmen for 115th Congress

Washington, D.C. -- House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) today announced that Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) will be the new Chairman of the Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations Subcommittee, replacing Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) who was recently named Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Additionally, Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-Idaho) has been named Chairman of the Immigration and Border Security Subcommittee, replacing Rep. Sensenbrenner. Chairman Goodlatte: “I am pleased to announce that Rep. Sensenbrenner will be taking over the reins at the Crime Subcommittee. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position. I am also pleased to announce the addition of Rep.
