Chairman Jordan Probes Group Providing Taxpayer-funded Services to Illegal Aliens

January 30, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to the Acacia Center for Justice, a nonprofit providing illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded legal services, demanding information on where the hundreds of millions of dollars granted to them initially by the Biden-Harris Administration has been spent.

According to public information, the Acacia Center for Justice spent a portion of its largely taxpayer-funded budget to lobby Congress in support of programs that benefit those illegal aliens, including programs that the Acacia Center for Justice administers, primarily legal services.

The Acacia Center for Justice served as the primary contractor for the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program during the Biden-Harris Administration and received hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars in funding.
