The Proxy Advisor Duopoly's Anticompetitive Conduct

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust will hold a hearing on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing, "The Proxy Advisor Duopoly's Anticompetitive Conduct," will examine how a foreign-owned duopoly--Institutional Shareholder Services and Glass, Lewis & Co.--controls over ninety percent of the proxy advisor market, providing recommendations for how investors should vote on issues related to corporate governance.
