WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet will hold a hearing on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing, "IP Litigation and the U.S. International Trade Commission," will examine intellectual property (IP) litigation in the United States, focusing mainly on the role of the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) as a forum for adjudicating IP cases. The Subcommittee will examine how USITC cases fit into the overall IP system, IP-related issues raised by USITC's IP docket, and recent developments relevant to the USITC and IP litigation.
