The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet will hold a hearingon Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing,"IP and Strategic Competition with China: Part II – Prioritizing U.S. Innovation Over Assisting Foreign Adversaries," will examine recent Biden Administration actions leading to increased foreign governments’ access to advanced technology owned by U.S. companies and universities through waiving IP protections. The hearing will also address the impacts of these actions on U.S. innovation and technological leadership, as well as the availability of life-saving medical advances in the future.
