The International Criminal Court’s Threat to the Sovereignty of the United States and its Allies

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet will hold a hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The hearing, "The International Criminal Court's Threat to the Sovereignty of the United States and its Allies," will examine the growing threats to the sovereignty of the United States and its allies posed by the ICC, including the Court's pattern of politicized and selective enforcement, its efforts to assert jurisdiction over the nationals of non-member states, and the legal and constitutional implications of foreign tribunals attempting to reach American citizens and servicemembers.
