The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet will hold a hearing on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing, "Intellectual Property and Strategic Competition with China: Part III - IP Theft, Cybersecurity, and AI," will examine current capabilities and risks in the arms race between the U.S. and the People's Republic of China in the development of artificial intelligence (AI). The hearing will also examine cybersecurity implications of AI and the potential impacts on the protection of U.S. intellectual property and technical resources, including data.
