WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government will hold a hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing, "Immigration Policy by Court Order: The Adverse Effects of Plyer v. Doe," will examine why Plyler v. Doe, the 1982 Supreme Court decision requiring states to provide illegal aliens a free K-12 education,was wrongly decided and how it harms America's schools and students.
