The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust will hold a hearing on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The hearing, "Where's the Beef? Regulatory Barriers to Entry and Competition in Meat Processing," will explore how different aspects of government regulation create barriers to entry and expansion in the meat industry. The hearing will also focus on laws that keep small- and medium-sized businesses from effectively competing.
